After hearing from various people that they were getting bummed out and considering quitting the game :(
Some fellow Subdredditors and I decided to spice things up after realising general moral is at an all time low! So after much deliberation and testing we came up with a game mode of our own. (Haven't decided on a name, but for now let's called it GÇ£Jurassic ParkGÇ¥, as the RaptorGÇÖs have escaped!)
How to play.
The aim of the game is; who can get the most kills within GÇ£AmbushGÇ¥ game mode. Participants are limited to using GÇ£Frontline Starter - AssaultGÇ¥ fittings only and are not allowed to change any; moduals, equipment or weaponry out - So to make it reasonably and equally fair for everyone participating.
When the match is finalised and the killboard loads up; everyone then donates 100,000 ISK to the winner and xGÇÖs up in squad chat when they have paid the winner; so the winner can then check their wallet to see if everyone has sent the ISK.
The Rules
- Everyone has to first agree to play this game mode.
- Participants are limited to GÇ£Starter Frontline - AssaultGÇ¥ fittings ONLY.
- You can NOT change out any moduals, equipment or weapons on the starter fits.
- Use of; Dropships, Tanks and LAVGÇÖs are NOT permitted.
- Being a passenger in a vehicle is NOT permitted.
- Orbitals are NOT to be used if acquired.
- Everyone MUST pay the winner 100,000 ISK. If you don't, you will be disqualified and kicked from squad.
- HAVE FUN!
This game mode is a lot of fun, very competitive and at an average of 700k per match it is highly profitable for the winner!
When using starter fittings you don't loose any ISK through dropsuit losses. (As everything is a blueprint copy)
On average each player gains 170k - 200k per match; so even after paying the winner you have still made ISK.
Please Remember: Even though this is very competitive, please refrain from cheating and using anything other than the starter fitting gear. At the end of the day its friendly competition and should not be taken seriously!

Yeh its a shame, IGÇÖd really hate to see the player base drop to the amount where they would have to cancel it. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen! |

We ran this with our alliance members with 2 full squads. On the same team or not; everyone still pays the winner ,who got the most kills. I made 1.3 Million ISK from one Ambush round! Who needs PC for ISK :) |
